The storage cage is mainly used for the storage and turnover of raw materials in and between factories, the storage of semi-finished products in the warehouse, and the distribution and storage of goods in large supermarkets. It can protect goods from impact and other damage. Therefore, it is a reusable form of protective packaging. The storage cage with standard size is an important storage turnover container in the logistics chain. When the storage cage is used for the production, storage and transportation of goods, it is often carried out for many times under very severe conditions to ensure that the goods and packaging can be kept intact to the maximum extent during the turnover transportation, reduce losses, reduce the trouble of changing the packaging during the turnover, and directly use mechanized transportation to improve the speed of logistics. Storage cages can provide good packaging for some large items, directly reduce the cost of storage and transportation for enterprises and reduce damage to items. At the same time, the service life and reusability of storage cages greatly reduce the packaging cost of enterprises (compared with traditional packaging). How to use the storage cage correctly?

1、 Storage cage deployment

When a folded storage cage is used, two people must operate it. The process is: two people stand on both sides of the storage cage, first erect the front mesh, then erect the side mesh and rear mesh connected together, insert the two side meshes into the base of the storage cage in reverse, pay attention to the connection with the front mesh, and finally insert the door bolt of the front mesh into the side mesh. The unfolded storage cage shall be flat and symmetrical in four corners. If any irregularity is found, please do not use it. Check whether the mesh and door bolt are inserted in place, otherwise careless use will lead to accidents.

2、 Items in storage cage

Open the door bolt of the storage cage and put down the upper folding door to place the articles. However, when the overall dimensions of the storage cage are fixed, the size and weight of the articles stored depend on the specifications of the storage cage (steel wire thickness, U-shaped slot thickness of the bottom plate and grid density). Some objects that cannot be bumped or easily scratched on the surface (such as some plastic parts, sheet metal parts after surface coating, etc.) can also be stored in the storage cage, but the inner wall of the storage cage must be added with Wantong board or cardboard to protect the objects from damage. When placing articles to the storage cage, considering the size of the upper storage cage feet when stacking, the optimal height of articles should be 3cm lower than the edge of the storage cage. It is strictly prohibited to store articles higher than the edge of the storage cage, otherwise the forklift will damage the articles in the lower storage cage when handling the storage cage.

3、 Storage cage handling

The storage cage must be handled by the handling machinery. The machinery that can handle the storage cage includes forklift (including counterweight and forward moving forklift), hydraulic pallet truck, storage cage trolley, battery tractor, etc. In order to improve the handling efficiency, two storage cages can be stacked together for handling, but the bearing of handling machinery and the speed of turning must be paid attention to when handling in this way. It is absolutely forbidden to stack three or more storage cages together for handling, because it is too dangerous.
